SGPRC ADU Housing Project 2024
The Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) is a detached permanent dwelling unit located on an unused portion of an acre of lot that already was being used for a specialized residential facility. This 2 Bedroom, 1.5 Bath ADU provides approximately 791 SF of living space. This unit is set up to serve two separate tenants. Each bathroom is an accessible bathroom for any tenants with a physical disability. The development of an ADU meets the affordable housing need identified in SG/PRC’s survey. The ADU was built and will be managed by Brilliant Corners, A Housing Development Organization. Since the already acquired lot was of ample size, the ADU allows for privacy and separation from the other dwelling on the lot. The ADU has an enclosed parking spot for one vehicle and a pedestrian gate. The existing concrete circular driveway was utilized to provide the tenants, and their guests with access into the ADU.
