Community Relations/Legislative Committee
Meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6 p.m.
The goal of the committee is to inform the community of the needs of persons with developmental disabilities by assisting and planning in the coordination of public relations and public education events. Also reviews pertinent legislation and sends recommendations to the full board for approval as to the position regional center should take regarding critical issues.
**IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT MEETINGS DUE TO COVID-19**
All SG/PRC Board and related Committee meetings will not be canceled, however they will be temporarily adapted to video-conference to maintain distancing during the COVID-19 outbreak. All scheduling for such video-conference meetings will remain at their regularly scheduled times.
You will need to have internet access to participate in the Board/Committee meetings (and a computer, smart phone, or e-tablet) during this adaptation. The SG/PRC Board and Committee members will also receive this information via email in advance of meetings.
