We want to inform you about an important change in the law for respite services. The law currently states that regional centers cannot purchase more than 90 hours per quarter of in-home respite and cannot purchase more than 21 days of out-of-home respite for a family, unless an exemption is granted

Notice of Settlement for the disability rights
class action case Ochoa v. City of Long Beach.
This Settlement addresses the accessibility of the City of Long Beach’s pedestrian right of way for individuals with mobility disabilities. The judge in this case ordered plaintiff’s counsel to distribute this Notice to disability rights organizations to ensure the Long Beach disabled community was aware of the settlement.
