POS Expenditures Report FY 17-18

In 2019, SG/PRC scheduled nine (9) meetings during March to present information to the community about the POS Expenditure patterns (AKA Disparity Reports) for Fiscal Year 2017-2018. These meetings were held in English, Spanish, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, and Vietnamese. (Cantonese translation was offered but was not requested this year.)

The purpose of these meetings was to accomplish the following:

Provide an overview of the current Equity Projects and activities supported with FY 16-17 and FY 17-18 Disparity Program Funds, based on the suggestions made by families during the community meetings scheduled in February and March 2016.
Review the expenditure data from FY 17-18, organized by age group, ethnicity, language, and living arrangement.
Share the proposed goals for achieving greater equity in FY 19-20.
Request suggestions for additional potential Equity Projects for the 2019-2010 Fiscal Year.

Posted below is the report submitted to the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) documenting the meetings held with the community (including minutes), the trends in POS authorizations and expenditures identified by SG/PRC, and the proposed actions that SG/PRC will take to continue to address issues of disparity.
